The federal government has entrusted Wasi Shah with greater responsibilities to boost tourism in Pakistan. He is now the lead figure in the country's tourism promotion efforts, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The Federal Cabinet has decided that Shah will lead the Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation (PTDC). This is a very important job that will help make Pakistan a better place for tourists.
That's not all. Shah has also been made the head of another group called the National Tourism Coordination Board (NTCB). By giving him these two big roles, the government shows they believe Shah can really make a difference in tourism.
These changes were made properly and after getting the green light from the Federal Cabinet. They made their decision after reviewing all the details provided by the Cabinet Division.
The main goal is to make the PTDC and NTCB stronger and more active. The government wants these two groups to work hard and make Pakistan's tourism better than ever.
This new change comes after Syed Aun Abbas, the previous leader of PTDC and NTCB, left his job on August 10. Following the orders of the temporary Prime Minister, Shah was chosen to take over, showing hope for a brighter future in Pakistan's tourism.
