FBR decides not to extend date of submission for tax returns

The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has decided not to extend the date of submission for tax returns, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.

According to spokesperson of FBR, the last date for submission of tax returns is 30 September 2024.

As of September 19, as many as 1926562 people have submitted income tax returns.

In the same period last year, not less than 987,000 people had submitted income tax returns.

In 2023, 5994996 people had submitted tax returns.
