New DG FIA Tahir Rai takes charge of his office

Newly appointed Director-General of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Muhammad Tahir Rai has taken the charge of his post on Friday.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, the new FIA chief addressed the senior staff of the agency and declared controlling cybercrime his first priority.
The FIA chief also warned that no one will be allowed to tarnish the dignity of citizens and restored Pakistan’s prestige in the international community.
Tahir Rai said the FIA will take strict action against those who share fake posts on social media. He said honesty is the best strategy and it will be implemented.
