Two million doses of coronavirus vaccine reach Pakistan from China

China, Pakistan’s time-tested friend, continues to assist the country in these times of pandemic as Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flight reached Islamabad from China on Sunday with two million doses of the coronavirus vaccine, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Quoting sources, the channel reported that as soon as the vaccine arrived, it was shifted to the warehouse of federal EPI.

They further told 24News that two million more doses of the vaccine would reach Islamabad tomorrow (Monday), which would be distributed to the provinces as per their needs.

This month (August) over 20 million doses of the vaccine have reached Pakistan while the target set for the ongoing month is over 30 million doses.
