Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has extended an invitation to Pakistan People's Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari for dinner today, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Thursday.

According to sources from the Prime Minister's House, the two leaders will hold an important meeting during the dinner to discuss the country's political situation.

Sources indicate that the discussion will also cover the relationship between the PPP and Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N), along with the ongoing political tensions between leaders from Sindh and Punjab.

The sources said that the issue of PPP feeling sidelined in certain agreed-upon matters in Punjab province is also expected to be addressed at the dinner meeting.

It is pertinent to mention here that Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah asked the federal government to give relief of Rs 14 per unit in electricity bills to Sindh, like Punjab.

In response to it, the Punjab authorities said that they had received this relief in electricity bills for their people by purchasing it.
