BHC orders withdrawal of case against Shahbaz Gill

The Balochistan High Court has ordered quashing case filed against senior PTI leader Shahbaz Gill in Killa Abdullah area of Balochistan, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
During proceedings on Thursday, BHC’s Justice Abdul Hameed Baloch expressed displeasure over police action to register the FIR on November 28.
Insaf Lawyers Forum’s Syed Iqbal Shah Advocate, Shams Rind Advocate and others represented Shahbaz Gill in the case.
The judge angrily asked how another FIR of the same case can be registered. “There is a Supreme Court judgement that two FIRs of one incident cannot be lodged,” the judge remarked.
The BHC judge further said such a practice is a mockery of judiciary and the law.
