Suspected robbers lynched after killing shopkeeper in Karachi

Citizens tortured to death three suspected robbers after they killed a shopkeeper in Karachi, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Monday.

The incident occurred in Korangi Town where three bandits shot dead a shopkeeper during a robbery, a local police officer said.

The officer added that other shopkeepers and bystanders cornered them as soon as they heard the gunshots and overpowered them.

The captured were subjected to severe torture, he said, adding that police took them in custody and sent them to a hospital where they died during treatment.
