Water Capital in Tarbela Dam becomes Zero, power generation decreased

The water reserves in Tarbela Dam have reached a dead level, 24News HD TV Channel reported on Tuesday.
According to the dam management sources, the usable water storage in Tarbela Dam has been reduced to zero.
And, the power generation from Tarbela Dam has come down to 503 MW only, the dam management sources said.
The sources also said that due to a shortage of water reserves, 12 power generating units have been shut down in Tarbela Dam.
On Tuesday, the water inflow in Tarbela Dam was just 13,600 cusecs and the outflow was 24,700 cusecs.
