The Bollywood dimple queen Alia Bhatt on Tuesday took to her Instagram handle and shared the bad news with her fans.

She angrily shared an Instagram story in which she said that the paparazzi had secretly clicked her private photos and leaked them too.

She told the whole story that the pictures were kept when she was casually sitting in her living room and she felt that someone watching her. She then saw two men on the terrace of her neighbouring building with a camera right at her.

She further said there is a line which we just cannot cross. Everyone has boundaries.

But shockingly she said, “This is a gross invasion of someone’s privacy!! It’s safe to say that all lines were crossed today!!”

Alia tagged the Mumbai police at the end of the note she wrote in Instagram stories.

Bollywood actresses Anushka Sharma, and Janhvi Kapoor also shared similar instances of their privacy being violated.

Actor Arjun Kapoor shared his thoughts on the matter saying, “Absolutely shameless. This is crossing all limits if a woman isn't feeling safe in her own home forget if she is a public figure or not for a second any sane person who takes photographs of public figures for a living needs to know that this is pathetic conduct & these are people in the media we have trusted and shown implicit faith in believing they are here to do a job not to make women feel unsafe or invade one's privacy. This is nothing short of stalking.”

Karan Johar expressing his point of view on the matter said:  “There is no justification for this absolutely disgusting invasion of privacy. Everyone from the entertainment industry is always for the media and the paparazzi and is accommodating. But there has to be a limit! This is about anyone's right to feel safe in their own homes! This is not about actors or celebrities it's a basic human right.”
