An anti-corruption judge in Muzaffargarh on Wednesday issued non-bailable arrest warrants of mother of Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Hina Rabbani Khar in connection with a land fraud case, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
A case regarding land fraud scandal of Khar family had been lodged in anti-corruption police station in Muzaffargarh by former Punjab minister Ghulam Noor Rabbani Khar’s eldest son Captain Abdul Khaliq Khar on 17 April, 2018.
Now the judge has issued non-bailable warrants for Sameera Bibi, who is the wife of late Malik Ghulam Rabbani Khar, and mother of Hina Rabbani Khar and Raza Rabbani Khar.
Sources told 24News TV channel that Sameera had allegedly, in connivance with the finance department, got a piece of land, belonging to the elder son of Malik Ghulam Rabbani Khar, Captain (r) Abdul Khaliq Khar, Ghulam’s elder daughter Hanifa Rabbani Khar, and Zeb Elahi Khar, allotted in her name as well as in the names of her daughter Hina Rabbani Khar and her son Raza Rabbani Khar.
Sources further told that the anti-corruption department had even constituted a team for Sameera’s arrest.
