Jamaat Islami announces election manifesto for Karachi city

Jamaat Islami Pakistan (JIP) Karachi head Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman announced the election manifesto to solve the problems of the city on Sunday.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, he addressed a press conference on Sunday and announced that this manifesto is not of Karachi but the manifesto of Pakistan.
For the upcoming elections, he said Jamaat-e-Islami has fielded an excellent team of doctors and engineers, who have a better understanding of parliamentary politics.
He said when they came to power, JIP would correct the census of Karachi city and every government school would be made a model school.
He said they will promote IT education in city universities and a scholarship program will also be launched in the city on a large scale. He added the youth will be given government jobs.
He said the constitution said that the province from where the gas comes out should be given priority and JIP will implement this provision of the constitution.
To end water scarcity, he said sea water will be made drinkable while the monopoly of K-Electric will be abolished and more than one supply company will be licensed.
He also announced that health cards will be issued to the people of Karachi and maternal and child health care centers will be established at the UC and town levels.
