Army Chief expresses grief over death of Allama Talib Jauhri

Chief of the Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa has expressed grief and sorrow on the demise of renowned religious scholar Allama Talib Jauhri.
“May Allah bless the departed soul in eternal peace and give strength to the bereaved family, Aameen.” General Bajwa said in a statement issued by the ISPR.
Allama Talib Jauhri breathed his last in Karachi on Sunday after a prolonged illness.
President Dr Arif Alvi also Monday phoned Asad Jauhri, son of late eminent religious scholar Allama Talib Jauhri and expressed his deep grief and sorrow over the death of his father.
According to a press release, the president prayed for the high ranks of the departed soul and for the bereaved family to bear the loss with equanimity.
On the occasion, he also expressed sympathy with the bereaved family.
The president said that Allama Jauhri’s religious services and his contributions towards interfaith harmony would be remembered for long.
Prime Minister Imran Khan also expressed his deep grief and sorrow over the death of Allama Talib Jauhari.
In his condolence message, the prime minister prayed for the high ranks of the departed soul and expressed sympathy with the bereaved family, PM Office media wing in a press release issued in Islamabad said.
Minister for Information and Broadcasting Senator Shibli Faraz expressed deep grief and sorrow over the sad demise of Allama Talib Jauhari.
In a tweet, the minister said his services for religion would be remembered for long time.
