Rubina Ashraf defeats Covid-19, says spouse

Lollywood legend Rubina Ashraf has defeated Covid-19 as she tested negative, spouse Tariq Mirza said on Monday, making an appeal to family, friends and fans for keeping on praying for the 60-year-old actress.

Rubina will remain in hospital as she has weakness, Mirza said, clearing the clouds of chitchats the social media remain abuzz with last week.

She has been in a private hospital in Karachi for days and her hubby raised call for prayers for her recovery. The actress also expressed gratitude to fans and friends for praying for her test and hoped getting back to normalcy soon.

Rubina Ashraf contracted the virus on June 2 and quarantined herself at home.

On June 9, Rubina Ashraf's daughter Minna Tariq requested people not to spread fake news about her mother’s health. Minna denied all rumours of her mother being in critical condition and getting shifted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
