CM Naqvi orders early completion of Lahore’s development schemes

Punjab Chief Minister Syed Mohsin Naqvi on Wednesday ordered early completion of development projects in Lahore, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Chairing a meeting held in Lahore to review progress on the city’s development projects, the CM directed that the Samanabad underpass should be opened for traffic in a few days’ time.
Similarly, he also ordered that Shahdara flyover project should be completed as early as possible so that the people could get rid of traffic issues.
The meeting also discussed technical aspects of the elevated expressway, CBD Main Boulevard, Nawaz Sharif inter-change underpass, Arfa Karim Tower to Pine Avenue and Main Boulevard to Walton signal free corridor projects.
Similarly, the pace of work on development schemes at Ghorra Chowk, Khalid Butt Chowk and Akbar Chowk also came under discussion at the meeting.
Punjab Minister for Housing Azfar Ali Nasir, P&D chairman, secretary C&W, commissioner Lahore division, LDA DG, DC Lahore and other concerned officials were in attendance.
