Dr. Yasmin Rashid, President of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Punjab, has released another open letter from jail, emphasizing the importance of peaceful protest as a cornerstone of democracy.

"The beauty of democracy is peaceful protest," Dr. Rashid stated, asserting that this fundamental right is being stifled by the current administration.

Dr. Rashid criticized the government's imposition of Section 144, which restricts public gatherings until the 27th.

"The government is so afraid of the people that Section 144 has been imposed. Can you remove the love of Imran Khan from the hearts of the people with such restrictions?" she questioned.

She highlighted the virality of a recent photo of Imran Khan that garnered 5.5 million views within two hours, reflecting public sentiment.

Dr. Rashid also criticized the government's economic policies, particularly the withdrawal of the Sahat Sahulat Card, which previously allowed families to receive medical treatment worth up to Rs one million.

"Mr. CM, if you find time from your 100 days of publicity, investigate whether people are getting daily goods at the government-announced prices," Dr. Rashid urged.

She pointed out that up to 40 percent of people have fallen below the poverty line, and the cost of living has made it difficult for many to afford even a single meal.

Dr. Rashid also accused the government of engaging in political revenge, mentioning the recent seven-day physical remand of PTI members Alia Hamza and Sanam Javed. "Allah is the one who gives honor, and you have increased their honor. Remember, you will be responsible for all this cruelty," she warned.
