Former prime minister and PTI founder Imran Khan has informed the media outlets and human rights organizations that his trials in different cases are being held not in courts in full view of the public, but inside the Adiala Jail to which media personnel, a few lawyers and his few family members had access, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.
In a letter, penned down by Faisal Chaudhry Advocate on the instructions of the former prime minister, serious concern has also been shown over the solitary confinement of Imran in October in a violation of rules and regulations.
The letter also terms an unannounced ban imposed on the printing of PTI founder’s statements which he gives to the media a blatant breach of national and international laws.
A demand has been made in the letter that a delegation of observers, comprising impartial senior journalists, be sent to the jail to witness the trial of the former prime minister in different cases and also meet him.
