Rawalpindi’s court approves bail of PTI workers

Rawalpindi’s civil court approved the bail of PTI workers who were arrested on Friday for staging a protest demonstration for the early release of PTI founder Imran Khan, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The accused were produced in the court of Civil Judge Naveed Akhtar. Police Station Sadar had booked 8 PTI workers including Chaudhry Nazir for blocking roads, inciting people to violence and interfering in the affairs of the government besides tearing the uniform of a constable.
The court rejected the police’s plea for judicial remand of the accused. The court ordered the release of PTI workers after submitting the surety bond worth Rs50,000 each.
