Hospital acknowledges Civil Aviation Authority’s help

Hayatabad Medical Complex Peshawar has acknowledged efforts and support of Civil Aviation Authority officials at Bacha Khan International Airport in saving lives of critical Covid-19 patients.
In a letter of thanks to Aviation Secretary Hassan Nasir Jamy, Hayatabad Medical Complex Director Dr Faisal Shahzad said his hospital signed an MoU with the National Institute of Blood Diseases, Karachi for clinical trial of convalescent plasma therapy amid the coronavirus outbreak in the country.
In this regard, hospital approached the CAA at Bacha Khan International Airport with the request to help it save lives of coronavirus patients. CAA responded positively to bring plasma from Karachi and deliver the precious cargo to the hospital.
