Sindh faces severe shortage of life-saving medicines

After the severe shortage of life-saving medicines across the province including Karachi, Kidney disease, Hepatitis A, Rubella, Measles and Mumps vaccines are missing, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
Sources said that tetanus immunoglobulin to treat tetanus and anti-rabies immunoglobulin to prevent rabies are also not available in the markets.
Tetanus immunoglobulin is used to prevent tetanus infection, medical experts said.
A storekeeper said the tetanus injection has been out for three months and shortages are created to drive up drug prices.
