Former human rights minister Dr Shireen Mazari has been arrested for the fourth time, 24NewsHD TV channel reported.
The Punjab Police have arrested the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader outside the Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi, her colleague Farrukh Habib said.
Reacting to the re-arrest of the ex-minister, Farrukh said it showed the coalition government’s panic.
He said the PTI persons are being targeted under the law of the jungle. The PDM government is not following the court's orders, he added.
The authorities have been taking in custody the PTI members involved in the May 9 riots.
The PTI activists took to the streets to vent their spleen over the arrest of ex-PM Imran Khan in a corruption case.
The party members and supporters damaged public property and attacked sensitive installations.
he PTI mobs also storm the GHQ in Rawalpindi, Corps Commander House in Lahore and Pakistan Radio office in Peshawar.
Reportedly, the riots claimed five lives and left a trail of devastation.
