IHC orders secretary interior to hold inquiries against police officers involved in illegal custodies

The Islamabad High Court Thursday ordered the Secretary Interior to hold inquiries against the police officers who are involved in illegal confinements, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.
The court remarked that the police, in violation of legal principles, were continuously arresting people.
Despite the disliking of higher courts, Islamabad police continued to take actions against citizens, the court remarked.
Islamabad police ignored and disobeyed the Lahore high court’s enacted legal principles, the court further remarked.
The court also granted protective bail to former Member of the National Assembly Ali Wazir for seven days in two cases.
The court also restrained the Islamabad police from assisting in the arrest and arrest of Ali Wazir.
Justice Hasan Aurangzeb issued a verdict on Ali Wazir's protective bail application.
The court ordered Ali Wazir to approach the respective courts of Tarnool and Taxila by September 26
The court also ordered to sending a copy of the decision to the Secretary Interior, IG Islamabad and DG FIA.
