Iranian President, First Lady to spend busy day in Lahore

Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi and First Lady of Iran Jamileh Alamolhoda will spend today (Tuesday) in Lahore with several visits and activities planned for the dignitaries.
Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi and First Lady Jamileh Alamolhoda will arrive at Lahore’s Haji Terminal where Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz will receive the esteemed guests.
Iranian President will first visit the Iqbal Mausoleum and then will reach Govt College University Lahore where he will attend a conference. After that, the Iranian President will reach the Governor House where he will hold meetings with Punjab Governor Baleeghur Rehman and Punjab CM Maryam Nawaz.
Punjab CM will host a luncheon in honour of the Iranian president and his wife and after that Iranian President will leave for Karachi in the afternoon.
Meanwhile, the First Lady of Iran will be accompanied by Punjab’s Senior Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb and upon arrival she will be headed to Khana-e-Farhang Iran to attend an event. After that, she will visit the University of Home Economics where she will attend a conference. After that, the First Lady will be headed to the Governor House where she will hold a meeting with Punjab Chief Minister. Next, she will visit the Iqbal Mausoleum and then will head to the airport to depart for Karachi.
There will be a local holiday in the city on the eve of the visit of the Iranian President.
Meanwhile, Deputy Commissioner Lahore has assigned the duties of district officers for the smooth conduct of the Iranian delegation programmes.
ADC Headquarters Shahid Abbas Kathia along with two zonal officers including AC Cantt Nabil Memon will perform duties at Haji Terminal while ADCF&P Umar Maqbool will perform duty at Mazar-e-Iqbal two zonal officers and AC Headquarters Anam.
ADC Shojeen Vastro and ACHR Wajiha Nasreen along with 3 zonal officers including AC Model Town will perform duties at GC University.
AC Shalimar Anam Fatima will perform duty at the University of Home Economics and AC Raiwind Zainab Tahir will perform duty at the Iranian Consulate.
