PSB unveils 3D model for modernizing National Coaching Center in Karachi

The Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) has revealed a 3D model for the modernization of the National Coaching Center in Karachi.
According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, the project which will be completed in two phases within a year aims to provide state-of-the-art facilities for athletes.
In the first phase, two new grounds, a rehabilitation centre, and two hostels will be constructed at a cost of Rs397.8 million.
The second phase will include the installation of a new tartan track, a swimming pool, and artificial grass for football.
The National Coaching Center will also house Pakistan's first FIH-approved hockey stadium while a modern football stadium is also part of the plan.
The total construction cost has been estimated at Rs170 million for both the hockey and football stadiums.
Indoor gymnasiums, badminton halls, hostel, and rehabilitation centers will be part of the project. Additionally, eight new field light towers will be installed on the track. These initiatives will cost approximately Rs227.8 million.
New roads will also be constructed as part of the modernization plan of the PSB.
