Private FSC exam in Punjab awaits policy decision 

Punjab cabinet has yet to take an important policy decision on FSC private examinations in the province, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Pertinent to note that Punjab Higher Education Department (HED) had decided to change the intermediate exam rules in Punjab under which students would be able to appear in the FSC exam as a private candidates. 

However, before sitting in the exams, it would be mandatory for private candidates to submit certificates of their preparation for practical exams, which they will be able to obtain from any department allied to the education board.

But it seems that the decision was only verbiage, still waiting for implementation. HED once again postponed the decision.

According to the report, HED had planned to change/review its policies in accordance with the forthcoming decision but it did not get final approval from the Punjab cabinet leading to further postponement.
