The federal government on Tuesday transferred and posted six officers of the Police Service of Pakistan (PSP). 

According to a notification issued by the Establishment Division, SSP Muhammad Ashfaq Alam of BS-19 was transferred from Punjab to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and SP Atta-ur-Rehman of BS-18 was transferred from Punjab to the federal capital. 

Services of SPs Riffat Haider and Asif Ameen, who were awaiting posting, were handed over to the Punjab government. Services of Sonia Shamroz, who was awaiting posting, were handed over to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government, while services of SP Sajid Hussain Khokhar were handed over from the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) to the Punjab government. 

Earlier, a number of senior officers in the federal bureaucracy were transferred and posted on Tuesday. 

Interior Division Chief Finance Officer Ishtiaq-ur-Rehman was transferred and posted chief finance officer at the Inter-Provincial Coordination Division. He was also given additional charge as chief finance officer of the Information Division. 

Housing and Works Chief Finance Officer Sajid Mahmood was transferred and posted chief finance officer at the Interior Division. National Food Division Chief Finance Officer Muhammad Saeed was given additional charge of the Housing Division. IT Division Chief Finance Officer Saeed Tiwana was given additional charge of the Parliamentary Affairs Division. 

The Establishment Division formally notified the aforementioned transfers and postings on Tuesday evening.
