Tashfeen Safdar quits PTI and joins PML-Q

Tashfeen Safdar, a former leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), has joined Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q), reported 24NewsHD TV channel Friday.
She announced her decision after meeting with PML-Q chief Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain at his residence on Monday.
She said that PML-Q was her home party and that she had full confidence in the leadership of Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain. She also vowed to play her role in the women's sector and serve the party with dedication.
Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain welcomed Tashfeen Safdar to PML-Q and expressed his hope that she would continue her services to the party.
He said that PML-Q was a democratic and progressive party that respected the rights and aspirations of all segments of society. He also praised Tashfeen Safdar for her political acumen and experience.
The joining ceremony was also attended by former Federal Minister and Senior Vice President PML-Q Chaudhry Salik Hussain, General Secretary PML-Q Punjab Chaudhry ShafiayHussain, Chaudhry Shahid Mahmood and Chaudhry Nisar Kisana.
