Prime Minister's adviser on political affairs Rana Sanaullah has underscored that the sustainability of Pakistan's parliamentary democratic system hinges on meaningful political dialogue, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Speaking to the media after the first round of negotiations between the government and the PTI leaders, Sanaullah acknowledged the constructive engagement between the two sides.
"Political dialogue is the only way to find a middle ground," he remarked, calling for a collaborative approach to address pressing national challenges.
He underlined the importance of mutual understanding, stating that neither side can expect total concessions from the other.
Referring to the strained history between the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), he candidly noted, "If PTI labeled us as thieves, we also had much to say about them."
The PML-N leader reiterated his long-held proposal for a "Charter of Economy," positioning it as a crucial framework to address the country's economic difficulties.
Sanaullah described the ongoing negotiations as a significant step toward fostering unity and addressing critical national issues, signaling hope for a more collaborative political climate.
