Man burns alive two daughters to ‘trap’ in-laws

The man who burnt two girls to death in Muzaffargarh’s Chowk Qureshi area turned out to be their father, reported 92NewsHD TV channel.

The SP investigation told the media on Saturday that the man, Abdul Hameed, killed both of his daughters one-and-a-half-year old Urwa and three-year-old Uswa on January 7 only to implicate his in-laws in their murder.

He further said the bodies of both the girls were completely burnt and they succumbed to their wounds later.

In a statement given to the police, Abdul Hameed said he first sprinkled petrol on the quilt of his daughters, and then threw red-hot burning coal on them.

The investigation officer further said that the man was arrested by using modern techniques of investigation. “Terrorism-related clauses have also been inserted in the case registered against him,” the SP elaborated.
