PPP candidate escapes assassination attempt in Ferozewala

Malik Jamshed Shehbaz, the nominated candidate of the People's Party for PP 139, survived a murderous attack on Monday while campaigning in Kot Abdul Malik.

According to the police, Malik Shavez Adil, a rival candidate, opened fire on Shehbaz and his supporters, but failed to hit his target.

Shehbaz and his companions escaped unhurt and reported the incident to the Ferozwala police station. The police have launched a search operation to arrest the attacker and his accomplices.

Shehbaz condemned the attack and vowed to continue his election campaign despite the threats.

He appealed to the Election Commission and the authorities to ensure a peaceful and fair election process in the constituency.
