Lahore CTO issues new guidelines for motorcyclists, car drivers

Lahore Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Dr Athar Waheed on Thursday announced a significant decision, declaring helmets mandatory for both motorcycle riders and pillion riders.
Referring to a rise in head injury cases, Waheed stated that helmets are now compulsory for all motorcyclists, and violators will pay fine.
Additionally, traffic police authorities have said that starting today (Thursday) drivers and front-seat passengers in cars must wear seat belts during driving.
