PPP committed to welfare of labour class, says Bilawal

PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said that PPP was committed to the welfare of the labour class, as the basic rights which were granted to the poor class by PPP were recognized globally, reported 24NewsHDTV channel. 

Addressing Labour Union’s oath-taking ceremony in Islamabad, Bilawal Bhutto said PPP gave the constitution to the country. He said Benazir Bhutto fought with dictators with the help of labour class and that was why PPP promoted the agenda of labour classes. 

Bilawal said during its tenure, PPP made huge increase in the salaries and pensions of the lower classes. He said without the help of labour classes, economy of the country can not move on. 

He said whenever PPP came in the government it made big announcements in salaries and pensions. Bilawal said when he became the foreign minister, he also had made increase in pensions and allowance of the labour class. PPP Chairman said he would put up heir demands before the government.
