PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said that today the country is surrounded by number of challenges and menace of terrorism is also on the rise, but he made it clear that PPP will not allow compromise on country’s nuclear and missile programs, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Addressing a gathering in Garhi Khuda Bakhsh to commemorate the 17th anniversary of Benazir Bhutto’s martyrdom on Friday, Bilawal said Benazir Bhutto was martyred while fighting for the rights of the people. He said Benazir Bhutto never bowed down to any dictator or terrorists.
PPP chairman said there was a misunderstanding that the voice of the provinces will be suppressed if Benazir is no more.
Bilawal said BB’s killers thought after hear death there would be political puppets in Pakistan. Bilawal Bhutto said, “We will continue to raise voice of the people.”
Bilawal Bhutto said PTI founder is an excuse, Pakistan’s enemies wanted to target Pakistan's missile technology. He advised PTI founder to condemn those who make statements against Pakistan’s nuclear programme.
PPP chairman said nations has to prove unity to counter challenges as no single political party has the ability to face internal and external challenges.
He said during the formation of current government, it was decided that the federal development budget will be made together. He said the central government does not have the mandate to take unilateral decisions.
Bilawal also paid tribute to Benazir Bhutto for her struggled of public rights. He said when Benazir Bhutto was removed, political puppets were imposed. Bilawal Bhutto claimed, “We are selected or part of form 47”. Puppets only like to sit on chairs in Islamabad.
Bilawal said PPP was not fond of chair and ministry when the government was being formulated.
