111 vehicles seized in Peshawar over Covid-19-related SOPs

The Transport Department of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) has impounded 111 vehicles in Peshawar over violation of the coronavirus-related standard operating procedures (SOPs) in recent days, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
KP Director Transport Fahad Ikram Qazi told the media that fines amounting to Rs1 million had also been imposed on owners of these vehicles.
Qazi further said 351 bus stands were inspected during the last four days while 151 warnings were issued over the SOPs’ violations. “Similarly, transport department’s teams searched over 6, 000 passenger coaches,” he informed.
