Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has said that Prime Minister Imran Khan’s statement on a referendum in Kashmir is against the resolutions of the United Nations, reported 24News HD TV channel on Friday.
The maulana termed the statement regarding the referendum in Kashmir without Gilgit Baltistan as betrayal with the Kashmir Freedom Movement. “Imran Khan’s statement is a proof and stamp on our claims of selling out Kashmir by him,” he said and added that Iman Khan’s point of view was a part of the seven-point agenda which was started in the era of Pervez Musharraf’s dictatorship.
Fazl said that they wanted the solution of the Kashmir issue according to the resolution of the United Nations. “If Indian Prime Minister Modi is termed a killer of Kashmir for revoking the constitutional status of Kashmir then what to say about Imran Khan if not a seller of Kashmir who violates the UN resolutions regarding Kashmir and talks about holding the referendum to make it a province of Pakistan,” he said.
“It is proved now that the ‘project directors’ of Imran Khan brought him to power in order to change the ideological and geographical boundaries of the country.
The JUI-F chief further said they would not allow the enforcement of Imran Khan’s agenda, adding that if the 2018-history was repeated during general elections in Kashmir on July 25, the results would be dangerous.
