Fawad Chaudhry dubs PA deputy speaker ‘hired’ man

Decrying Punjab Assembly’s deputy speaker’s yesterday ruling, PTI leader Fawad Chaudhry has said that the former has buried all kind of ethical values with his contentious decision, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Talking to media on Saturday, the former information minister said that last night, PA Deputy Speaker Dost Muhammad Mazari laid his hands on public mandate.
“We have come to Supreme Court to tell it that Mazari is a ‘hired’ man,” Fawad told a bevy of journalists. He pointed out that PML-Q President Shujaat Hussain’s controversial letter was found in the pocket of the deputy speaker only. He castigated Mazari for crushing ethical values.
The former information minister said that the PTI wanted election in the country. “Let the people decide to whom they want to give reins of power,” he added.
He rued that the constitution was trampled last night. He said that his party wanted deputy speaker to be charged in contempt of court and violation of constitution. He said that his party had already informed the Supreme Court that Mazari was not impartial.
Fawad said that Hamza had assured the court that free and fair election would be held but it was not the case. Constitution has been violated, he aadded.
He also said that Ch Shujaat was not physically fit that’s why his power of decision was limited.
Criticizing former president Asif Ali Zardari’s role, Fawad said those who were raising their political stature on the strength of ‘wades of currency note’, nation should get rid of them.
He lamented that irreparable loss had been done to country’s economy and further instability would be dangerous.
