Asad Majeed Khan to take over as new ECO secretary general

Pakistan has won the post of Secretary General of Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) for the next three years, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
According to diplomatic sources, former Foreign Secretary Asad Majeed Khan will be the new Secretary General of ECO.
Diplomatic sources said Asad Majeed Khan will assume the charge of ECO Secretary General ECO next month.
The incumbent Secretary General of ECO, Khusrow Noaziri, will arrive in Islamabad tomorrow on a two-day visit.
