Punjab Information Minister Azma Bukhari Monday flayed opposition over their boycott of the assembly session which was convened on their request, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Talking to the media, Azma Bukhari said the PML-N government was unluckily facing incompetent opposition which believed in politics of agitation and protest.
Punjab Information Minister said opposition parties must have attended the session and discussed public issues with the government.
“If the opposition was planning to stage drama at the gate of the assembly, then why did they request for assembly session at people's tax money?” Azma Bukhari questioned to the opposition members.
She said this was the most unworthy opposition in the history of the country.
Azma Bukhari claimed that May 9 rioters should have been in jail but they were cursing the government at the gate of the Assembly.
She said the agenda of this group was to spread lawlessness in the country.
She demanded that the May 9 facilitators and planners should be brought before the courts as this group has become the darkest spot on the country's politics. She said unless this group is not controlled, there will be no stability and prosperity in the country.
