Pakistani actor and director Yasir Hussain revealed the famous moment he proposed to his current wife, Iqra Aziz, during an awards ceremony staged by the organizers.
Yasir Hussain appeared as a guest at 'Excuse Me with Ahmed Ali Butt' podcast where he revealed that the viral proposal stunt for his wife Iqra Aziz at Lux Style Awards ceremony was all pre-planned by the organizers, and he had not intention of getting down on one knee because he had already met the latter's mother with her proposal.
"So Frieha Altaf, the event organizer wanted to do something special and it was her idea", he said.
Hussain recollected, "At that point, we were together and I had already met her mother as well, but at that point, I remembered how Iqra had once complained about how I had never really proposed to her."

"Frieha suggested that I should pop the question to her on stage because no one had ever proposed at an award event like that and we were getting married anyhow, so the notion was utterly new.
However, I was too aware of the theatrical aspect, so in the end, we decided to go in that manner," the "Jhooti" actor said, adding that Aziz was still unaware of the full scheme.
