Pakistani heartthrob Adnan Siddiqui and other social media users reacted to the Bollywood filmmakers decision of recreating Pakistani hit song ‘Pasoori’ for their upcoming film.
Kartik Aaryan, the Bollywood actor and renowned producer Sajid Nadiadwala has decided to recreate the hit Pakistani song "Pasoori" for their upcoming film "Satyaprem Ki Katha.”
The film features Kartik Aaryan and talented Kiara Advani and will hit the theatres on June 28.
Adnan Siddiqui took to twitter and shared his views with the public about the remaking of ‘Pasoori’.
The tweet reads: “Pasoori is a song loved all over the world. I hope Bollywood won’t slaughter this masterpiece as it does to others in the garb of remaking.”

Whereas the ‘Pasoori’ singer Shae Gill also stated that she had no idea what’s going on as she wasn’t aware of any such happenings.

Pasoori was originally sung by Shae Gill and Ali Sethi in Coke Studio season 14.
The song gained immense popularity as soon as it was released in 2022.
According to Spotify, in 2022, ‘Pasoori’ became the most-streamed Pakistani song globally and locally, according to Spotify. It was also identified as the most-searched song in the world that year, as per Google Trends' Year in Search 2022 report.
