More differences are feared between Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) as the latter has failed to fulfil one more promise of establishing solar parks in the industrial estates in Sindh, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
It is learnt that the senior leaders of the PPP are unhappy with the allies, and their concerns have been conveyed to the party leadership.
Differences between the PPP and the PML-N came to the fore over the non-fulfilment of the promise of solar parks establishment in the industrial estates in Sindh.
PML-N’s Federal Minister Khurram Dastgir did not fulfil the written proposal from PPP’s Senator Taj Haider. He had earlier assured the PPP senator of the immediate implementation of the proposal.
The PPP believed that the solar park proposal was indispensable for the revival of the industry sources, but the PML-N did not consider it in the budget.
As per the proposal, electricity from the solar parks was to be made available to the industries at a very low cost.
The resolution of Solar Park Industrial Estate had also been passed by the Senate.
