PML-N leader gunned down in Chishtian; CM Maryam takes notice, seeks reports from IGP

Unknown armed motorcyclists gunned down a PML-N local leader Ghulam Rabbani and injured his friend in Chishtian, Bahawalnagar district, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

After the firing, the attackers escaped from the scene. The locals shifted the deceased and the injured to THQ Hospital. Chishtian Police Station City A Division Police reached the site and started the investigation of the incident.

Meanwhile, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has taken notice of the murder of local PML-N leader Ghulam Rabbani in Chishtian. CM Maryam has sought a report from the Inspector General of Police.

Chief Minister also expressed her heartfelt sympathy and condolences to the bereaved family. She also directed the concerned health authorities to provide the best medical facilities to the injured.
