As many as 1,200 ghost employees have been detected in the Capital Development Authority (CDA), reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.

In this regard, Member Technology Nauman Khalid said that the CDA had developed a special mechanism to catch the ghost employees.

Following the detection, the CDA had immediately instructed all the employees to get employee cards.

It was made mandatory for all the employees to get slip from e-login for drawing their salaries.

Human Resource (HR) was also ordered to digitize all employee data.

In three months, the data of all the employees was digitized but the data of twelve hundred employees was not found.

Only 11,700 employees logged in for the e-salary slip.

CDA Finance continues to pay salaries to more than 13,500 employees every month.

Meanwhile it was disclosed that 1,200 employees were provided salaries despite not having data.

All the employees were given a deadline of March. The employees who did not log their data till March were not given salaries.

Data has been collected from three different sources and the final data analysis has also been started.
