Karachi shows continued solidarity with Palestinians in rally near US Consulate

Karachi on Sunday witnessed a display of unwavering solidarity with Palestinians in a rally organized by Majlis Wahdat-e-Muslimeen Pakistan (MWM) near the American Consulate.
According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, Participants in the rally, which included members of MWM, Jamat-e-Islami and MQM embarked on a march on foot from the Exhibition Tower, demonstrating their strong support for the Palestinian cause.
The rally aimed to raise awareness about the ongoing struggles faced by Palestinians and to advocate for a more proactive stance from the international community.
However, the administration restricted the rally from accessing to the vicinity of the US Consulate.
Containers were strategically placed near Bahria Complex on MT Khan Road to maintain order and security during the event.
Allama Hassan Zafar Naqvi of MWM emphasized the need for Muslim countries to take a decisive stance. He called for the severance of diplomatic relations with Israel and the United States, advocating for an economic boycott of Israel.
He further emphasized Pakistan's role in providing continuous support to the Palestinians.
Addressing the gathering, Muslim Parvez of Jamaat-e-Islami and Rauf Siddiqui of MQM expressed concern about the perceived hesitancy of Muslim leaders in addressing the Palestinian issue. They called on Muslim rulers to exhibit courage and take a more proactive role in advocating for the rights and welfare of Palestinians.
