Former Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Member of the National Assembly (MNA), Gul Zafar Khan, has been taken into custody by law enforcement authorities in Bajaur, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Saturday.    

As per details, the former MNA was wanted by the police over allegations of corruption, irregularities in recruitment, and misappropriation of government funds. A case has been formally registered against him in connection with these allegations, according to police sources.

The anti-corruption police issued a notice to Gulzafar Khan, urging him to appear in the recruitment case. However, he failed to respond to the summons, leading to his arrest.

PTI leader Dr. Hameed condemned the intrusion, terming it a high-handed tactic.

He asserted that such maneuvers would prove futile, emphasizing that PTI's committed workers remained undeterred by arrests and were resolute in their ideology.
