CM Naqvi inquires after patients at Mayo Hospital

Punjab caretaker Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi Monday paid a surprise visit to Lahore’s Mayo Hospital where he went to the emergency ward and inquired after patients, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The caretaker chief minister also inquired after the health of Sughran Bibi — the elderly woman who was injured during a stampede in Sahiwal.
He felicitated the patients and the doctors on Eid and prayed for the speedy recovery of the patients.
He appreciated the spirit of the doctors, nurses and paramedical staff for serving the suffering humanity during the Eid holidays.
Mohsin Naqvi also inquired from the patients and their attendants about the medical facilities being provided at the hospital.
“Salutations to those who heal the sorrows of the suffering humanity during the Eid holidays,” he said.
“[We’re] striving to provide the best treatment facilities to the patients in the hospital,” he added.
Provincial Minister for Specialised Healthcare and Medical Education Dr Javed Akram accompanied the chief minister.
