Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Justice Qazi Faez Isa said on Wednesday that since judges at times failed to make sense of the cases when lawyers are giving their arguments via a video link, therefore, this time single bonus had been given to the Supreme Court (SC) employees so that the money thus saved could be spent on the improvement of the video link system, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Addressing the Bar Association in Karachi, the CJP said it was a lawyer’s job to make judges understand the case.

“We have decided not to waste public resources,” he said, adding, “Federal tribunals and federal courts should be built in Karachi at the same time.”
