Kim Kardashian faced a drop in her Instagram followers after the release of Taylor Swift's new song ‘thanK you aIMee’ in her 11th studio album 'The Tortured Poets Department'.
The update comes after fans noticed the letters K, I, and M are capitalized in the tilt of the track ‘thanK you aIMee’ which spells out the Kardashian star’s name.
Taylor Swift seemingly addressed Kim in the name of her new song.
The lyrics of the song read, "There's a bronze spray-tanned statue of you and a plaque underneath it/That threatens to push me down the stairs, at our school."
Kim lost her popularity on social media as her Instagram handle previously boasted 364.3 million followers, however, the figure has now dropped to 363 million.
Not only this, Swifties filled the comments section of Kim's latest birthday post for her sister, Kourtney Kardashian, with taunting remarks.
One fan wrote, "You should definitely listen to the song, thanK you aIMee."
Another fan penned, "aIMee... Karmas gonna track you down!"
On the other hand, Kim remains mum on the song and the overall controversy surrounding it.
For the unversed, Swift released her 11th studio album, The Tortured Poets Department, on Friday, April 19, which includes 31 songs.
