Two terrorists gunned down in Bhakkar firefight

Two terrorists were shot dead in a gunbattle with personnel of Punjab Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) in Bhakkar after they entered Punjab from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.
According to a CTD spokesman, the slain terrorists were belonged to a banned outfit and the CTD team also seized a large quantity of explosives from their possession.
The CTD spokesman said these terrorists were wanted in connection with an attack on a sensitive government installation.
Giving further details, the CTD spokesman said when the counter-terrorism personnel tried to confront four terrorists near Ravi Morr in Bahakkar they opened firing on them. However, two terrorists were killed in the retaliatory firing by the CTD jawans while the other two managed to escape.
Heavy weapons, explosives and ammunition were seized from the slain terrorists, said the CTD spokesman, adding efforts were being made to identify the terrorists.
