The once pure K2 has now seemingly become a huge garbage dumpster, as commercial climbing has started on a huge scale, reported 24NewsHD Wednesday.
The World’s second highest peak K2 has also become a landfill, which was once the cleanest of places with the purest of atmosphere. Commercial hill climbing has ruined the beauty of the mountain.
The international climbers have said that K2 has become a huge heap of garbage and filth.
At the K2 base camp, used and spoiled camping tents, food boxes, bottles, containers and even human feces are seen everywhere which is ruining and polluting the very clean and clear atmosphere.
K-2 is becoming dumpster mountain because of commercial climbing approach; for each client there are 2 support staff with O2 bottles, tents, food, human wastes. For sustainable tourism & environment we request ban on commerical outfit and keep it only for "Purists" #KeepK2Clean pic.twitter.com/bWKAY3sjI7

The authorities receive thousands of dollars from the tourists and the negligence they show towards the Mountaineers Mountain even after that heavy payment is very suspicious.
The thousands of tons of garbage and filth at the base camp are a hazard for the environment and put the health of the tourists at risk very majorly.
