Govt decides to call joint session of parliament next week

The government has decided to convene a joint session of the parliament next week to do some important legislation, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.

Quoting its sources, the channel reported that the government would convene the session after the National Assembly’s and Senate’s sessions on August 28.

They informed that the bills, which had not been passed earlier, would be passed during the session.

Sources said that members of the parliament had been informed about the government’s decision and directed to ensure their presence at the session.
